Shadow

A trait that is repressed in our system to any non-zero degree.

At least a bit.

And the more it's repressed, the more energy will the trigger bring.

So it's a trait that causes our system to react once this trait enters our Awareness and is registered by the system.

Then it interacts with the system.

And the system reacts.

There's investement.

There's identification.

  • Identification can be complete
  • One can identify without identifying. Just witnessing the system acting the reaction out.

Like any form of suffering, Shadow is great entry point. It carries potential to go deeper within out system.

Make the unconscious conscious.

Which has to be done again and again.

Main RI for working with shadows is: "I can be like that".

It challenges the repression mechanism.
